Here's the Album that knocked Oasis 'Morning Glory' off the charts in 1996.
Actually you need to get this version, the 20th anniversary edition of 'Expecting to Fly' their debut, with those bonus tracks. The bumper value edition.
The Bluetones are a London Band, currently on a UK tour, having split and reformed. This album went platinum and largely on the strength of the excellent single 'Bluetonic'.
A 4 piece.....but very much in that Oasis vein - melodic rock, great songs. A little Brit Pop perhaps, but great songs and ideal for those bright Summer days.
There's a chance you might not know them and so it's always good to get something new recommended, which we like to do. This had a great cult following and really are well worth the listen.
