What we're listening to: Rolling Stones 'Sticky Fingers'

I actually sorta' kinda' remember when this came out in 1971 but particularly because the sleeve caused a stir. I'm nearly 100% certain that we had a sleeve designed by Warhol with an actual zip. Nearly 100%?

It was their 11th Album and the first to feature Mick Taylor but only recently, a new 'Sticky Fingers Live' has been released too. Of course, the 2 best known songs are 'Brown Sugar' and the great, 'Wild Horses' but it's a hugely well regarded record.

It went straight to number one in the UK and is often seen as their best Album arguably against 'Exile on Main Street'. Still, it's soooooo good.

Interesting too, that Billy Preston is on the Album on organ and Ry Cooder (which surprised me anyway) with Paul Buckmaster (Elton John) organising the strings.

It's a must-have. Simple as that.
Any self-respecting music head has a copy and so should you.
