What we're listening to: Daft Punk 'Discovery'

The amazing Daft Punkers had dancefloors filled with their techno debut in 2001. It's retro but it's addictive and superb.

Their second Album and according to them, reflected their childhood memories (70's/80's). Notably Giorgio Moroder.

Recorded at Thomas Bangalter's home 'The Daft House', in Paris (they had just come out as robots before its release) with the smash single 'One more time', it's really Disco with sampling, at the core.

'Harder Better Faster Stronger', 'Something about us', 'Digital Love' are all standout tracks but the Album is terrific, start to finish. But look too at the Manga artwork on the 'One more time' video following. They are visual in the best, best way.

Genius.
